I love to go on hunts for unusual items in second hand shops and in nature, trinket pots I can hide creatures in, nicely shaped stones I can use in dioramas and acorn and snail shells I have yet to find a use for, but were too pretty to pass on collecting up.

Twigs, acorns, shells and even part of a pigeon egg in my garden.

There's something satisfying in finding random unique treasures and adding them to my horde for crafts. I'd love to visit Seaham Hall Beach, famous for it's beach glass to see what pretty ehtereal glass pebbles I can find.

Anything pretty and shiny lights up my heart and delights my senses, you could say I'm a bit of a magpie!
